Daryl says it's only a matter of days. He's still waiting on the different needle. It'll run with the other one, but he said it's on the rich side. Beats a stock 400 and 500 Scrambler on the 60ft drag-strip by his shop. All the spechs are in the article, call 1-800-905-TRAX to subscribe. Kinda spendy at $11 for four issues, but if we ( Polaris enthusiasts) let them know why we are subscribing....hmmm chances are they'll do even more articles.

KT P.S. You can probably by the HPD now, and he'll send you the needle later.

You mean with just the conversion kit the TB will beat the 400 and 500? I'm not to much of a wiz when it comes to motors. If I get this I'll need different jets too? Thanks for all your answers.

The complete kit will come with all the things you need.
The carb is an option to the kit. If you order the carb
along with the reed conversion it will come with the jets
for the carb.

Wait a minute, is this conversion, bolted on a stock T.B. beating stock 400 and 500s? Or is this a modded TB. Please explain, I already am planning on buying it for my 2000 TB, but if its whipping stock 400s with this mod alone its time to stroke the ol credit card!

With this conversion it makes it a modded TB. The kit is everything you would do to make a modded TB. If you want all the performance you buy the complete kit. Then you will have a modded TB that will run with stock 400/500 scramblers.

The cost has not been set! My best guess is between
800-1300.00 dollars. Darrell has told me, that he raced
a PIPED 500 SCRAMBLER that also had a clutch
kit installed. It would just beat him by a quad length.
Then when they traded bikes, they would tie!!!!
