I wouldn't get too excited. It was just a prototype. They didn't even have their own chassis. It was a Banshee chassis from LRD or Lone Star I think. (it's already set up for a side be side twin)
Anyway, while it had unreal power, and faster then anything made in the ATV world, it was unpractical. (what they said) Something about lawsuits and the general public getting their hands on something like this. I'm sure some dad would buy one for is 12 year old boy, then and it would be only a matter of time before the CPSC got involved.
BUT the important thing is that the manufactures are finally building some decent high performance machines, or at least researching them. (I still want the ds 440 tho.)

Okay, just a little pickyness on my part, the VIN# cannot be "1" as that doesn't work in the VIN# system ( that's a government administered system btw, polaris has little say to it other than participate or not.) The serial number may have been "1" but that would be for symbolic purposes only, as most manufactures prefer to keep serial numbers from multiple models from overlapping to keep records easier to track.

The guy told me the vin# was like 801 or something, but it was the first one of the bunch though.
