I loved my SP500HO. But when I went to replace it I found that I could get a 2002 Kawasaki 650 cheaper than a 2001 SP500HO. And the 700 I'm not giving 8K for any quad! Sorry guys but when the insurance check gets here I'm picking up the Kawi. If its half as good as I here I think I will like it as well as my SP500HO.

I've only ever seen one atv in my life that was "totaled". It was a King Quad that hit a tree at an unknown speed. Bent the frame and the front tire was touching the rear. How did you total yours? Just curious.

I was riding with friends at the bad lands (atica In) Started up a real long and steep hill was about 1.5-2 feet from top when the hill shot straight up. The front end raised up rearend dug in and over it went 3 rolls and 4 endos later it was at the bottom totaled. Everybody that saw the atv said did they die? I was lucky and barely got a scrach. It did 3800 just in parts damage. It took all I had not to cry seeing my baby laying there. You have to give to polaris even with all the damage we pumped the tires up and I drover her out with steering locked and all. Not a good riding day.

In the 2 years I have worked at this dealer I have seen 4 totalled Sportsmans (2 of them had to be put on a pallet to be moved)(also 2 done at the same exact time), 2 totalled Scramblers (1 of them twice), 1 totalled DS 650, 1 totalled Arctic Cat 400, and several totalled snowmobiles. They weren't even mine and they almost made me cry. I couldn't imagine on of them being my baby.

I dont think I would have the ***** or stomach to wreck an atv on purpose. It was bad enough just to see it all twisted. It is not a sight I want to see again.
