Don't know about the pre mix for the atv. However my RM125 is supposed to be mixed 32:1. But I use Motul synthetic (non-castor) and mix it 50:1 have never had a problem and never fouled a plug. Although I do replace them after the winter anyway. It also keeps my power valve nice and clean and it doesn't gum up my pipe either.

The motul is a little pricey but it is one of the best oils out there. Klotz and yamalube are real good too!

uflg95, I have heard that it is hard to get the jetting set correctly with the AMSOIL because it always seems to read LEAN on the plug even when it is RICH, but i also think some of these people had the UFO things on they're quads as well that make them hard to jet also! Has anybody had any problems reading their plug during jetting with the AMSOIL????

Yes, I just recently had the jetting problem in a machine I ran AMSOIL and a UFO in. You have to read the porcelean (sp) around the center electrode and run the machine a quite few minutes longer than normal to get the plug to color. So it is best to start with a jet you know will be a little "fat" and ride it for a day. I thought I had it right on, in the machine I was working on, until we went for an all day ride. It took half a day to notice it but I was still slightly rich. The problem comes from the oil not making deposits. AMSOIL is truly 100% synthetic, which means it has no minerals (or parafins and natural additives) to cause any build-ups of deposits or sludge, which is good because it burns very clean. The problem with this is it will actually make the plug turn a unigue color (after looking lean) before begining to color it. But eventually it will begin to color correctly because the fuel will begin to leave deposits from combustion.

there is a lot of good full synthetic oil out there, choose an oil that
meet the expectations of what kind of riding you do,if you're worry about build-up deposits, get the amsoil power foam wich is a carb/engine cleaner wich make a total clean up to the carb and motor so more performance as well without residues.

uflg95, if a person were wanting to run the AMSOIL in their machine but didn't want to fool with the hassle of jetting while running the AMSOIL could you run a different kind of oil thats not 100% synthetic like some Klotz or Bel-Ray (just some examples), while you were jetting so that it would be easier to do the plug tests and when you've ran that tank of gas out put AMSOIL in the other tanks of gas now that you have it jetted correctly????

Yes you could do that. If you are good a jetting to begin with you can do it with the AMSOIL, you just have to run the machine a few minutes longer.
