all bikes break down.. polaris 's have a few weakness but so does every other make. i have friends that have new honda 450 and 500 s that have blown up under warranty and honda would not fix. i also have friend that has new grizzly 660 and also new 650 kawi that have blown up. polaris 400 2 stroke is very reliable . my friend has one with 5500 miles. bikes break down from improper use or lack of maintenance... example water injestion is a big problem with all makes. the polaris is less likely than other makes. radiators cloged with mud is a big issue. proper venting of transmission and all fluid resvoirs is a must. i vent all mine to the rear storage box. the polaris up until the last would out perform all other makes due to it true 4x4.big tires also tear up drivelines on all makes . all jap bikes until the last year or so are realy 3 wheel drive not 4

All I can say is that I'm happy with mine.
Even after wasting the right rear side by hitting a tree.
Yes, the plastic rack broke. But a steel rack would be bent to cr@p also.
$275.00, and it runs just like new. The plastic is still messed ( $400.00 for new plastic ) But I'm TOTALY satisfied, even with my crashed Polaris.

And, your grammar looks like it needs improvement as well. If you are going to trash a brand it would be in your best interest to provide facts, not observations or assumptions, and be grammatically correct.

Man I am so tired of this. I don't care what he rides. I don't care what anyone rides. Its all preference. I did alot of research before I bought my Polaris and have been very satisfied. As for breaking down, all ATV's breakdown, its just not the Polaris's. Just my two cents.

I ride a 2000 Grizzly 1987 Big Bear And a 2001 Raptor and i'm not a hotshot i've had a polaris and i had so many problems with it like belt slippage the rack broke won't start chain break i've been to hell and back on a polaris and if i had to do it again i'd rather ride a bike that a polaris flamer!!!
