porting will not help bottom end , but the head will. i have run the hot seat billet because it uses the stock head gasket. dyno port makes a good pipe.

Just changing over to a white or green primary will drastically change your lower end.

I DO NOT recommend Dynoports pipe. The owner Rich, lied to me about its sound output[DBs]and when I asked him to take his pipe back,he claimed they have a ''no return'' policy. His pipe also requires NO re-jetting.ANY pipe that does not require you to re-jet is not worth the 300 bucks you'll pay for it.My credit card company got ahold of the owner Rich at Dynoport and refused payment to him.I finally sent his POS back to him.

Instead, get ahold of Rick Ritter at 1618-644-3211.He has a pipe that uses a stock Scrambler silencer and REALLY performs.Yes,you'll have to re-jet.

Muddy,

Does RCR now make a pipe to fit the later model Xplorer 400? Last time I called, he didn't? Thanks.

RcR does not make a pipe for a 2000+ Xplorer.PSI does but you will lose all your low end.Rick Ritter modified my PSI and got me back some of my low end.I got the rest back with clutching.
