I've been reading about these two springs for the sportsmans. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with either one. I'm getting ready to order one, and don't know which one to get. I'm looking for a little more on the low end side. I already have a HSP pipe, K&N filter, and getting ready to get a DynoJet kit also. If anyone has these clutch springs I would appreciated any info. Thanks.

I can't help you with the clutch spring but I do see Hot Seat sells there clutch kit that is calibrated to match up to there pipe. Maybe you could help me though. I've been looking at the Hot Seat pipe for my sportsman and was wondering if you noticed much difference in your performance with it and how is the sound level on it. I don't want something that's going to be too loud. Thanks.

I had the green spring in at one point. I didn't like it. It seems to work well for the two-stroke guys. I would try the white if you don't plan on a full kit from HSP, EPI, ect.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Shaggy is right the green is a little much for a 4 stroke.I have a gren in my 400 2stroke and it is great. But in my 425 magnum i run a white it works good.

TrailBossTim,
The HSP pipe, helped me just a little on the low end side, but it is mostly just sound, and yes it is loud. When you hit the throttle it will turn heads. Hope this helps

I didn't notice the HSP question TrailBossTim asked.
WVSP500HO gave a good description on it and I will add that mine was a very poor fit. I had mine installed at hot seat btw.
