2000lb Warn Winch Servicing
#1
I started noticing the winch was dragging and figured there couldn't be much to them so I did what all men would do, I took it apart.
Anyways, Its a lot simpler than I thought. It was full of KY mud, TN mud, GA clay, WV mud and of course FL sand. It even still had some water in it from this last ride. I'll say one thing for Warn they use some damn good water proof grease. The hardest part was getting the old grease out.
When I reassembled it I used marine grease, let me tell you it purrs like a new born kitten again.
