I have no throttle response at all! When I push the throttle, the carb bogs down. It also backfires when starting. I am going to change the spark plug, and drain the gas tank and put new gas in it. It just started, and I didn't do anything different. Thanks

same thing was happening on me, check the throttle cable, and see if you notice any play in the thumb throttle after you push it and let it go, its backfireing because it isnt getting the right idle mix

Iwas told the backfiring was due to a impro[erly gapped sparkplug. How do I fix the idle mixture? maybe the idle screw? or the airscrew? Thanks!

Take the slop out of you throttle cable first..you may see all you problems go away, mine did.
