Howdy viewers,

I've been doing some catalog reading and web searching...and it seems to me that racing companies are giving honda and yamaha all the cool looking chrome or aluminum front bumpers for their atv's. But I've seen pics from people here on the forum with some attractive front bumpers...just looking for input on good aluminum or chrome finish front bumpers for a '00 scrambler 400. Pics would be great, or at least a web site or where you ordered them from. Thanx.

I got my alum. DG bumper from my local dealer for about $120 and with some polishing it shines quit a bit,,chech out my pics..

 

Since your Scrambler is 4x4, you already have an aluminum front bumper. Bead blast the powdercoating off, and use a little elbow grease, and touche'

In my opinion POLARIS has the best looking aftermarket front bumper available for the

Scrambler. It is the bumper that they are putting on the 500 scrambler X from the

factory. And the POLARIS STAR is cut into the Skid Plate. LOOKS GREAT BUT A LITTLE PRICEY

 

Yeah, I agree. The Polaris aluminum bumper does not look too bad, but the price is the thing. I am really thinking about the DG kromelite bumper cause I can get that for about $150, but every picture I see of it shows it on a honda or a raptor. I was just curious if it had the protective carrige that runs down to the skidplate similar to the stock front bumper or what exactly it looked like. For the price compared to other models it's used for...there has to be something else there.

 

Surf EBAY and see what is out there.

You might be able to locate an older style DG, like mine.

 

I just put my DG alloy on my scrambler about 3 weeks ago. Yes it does replace the black plastic skid plate. It looks alot like the polaris x version but half the price. I paid $98.00 for mine from Chaparral. Like AZ400L said every now and again there is a store on ebay that has them, they were going for $109.00. (dutch) I think it was JL Power sports.

 

I recently bought a DG Alum. front bumper from Rocky Mountain ATV for $85.99 total, that included shipping and cost of bumper.I received it in 4 days.Shipped from Utah to Ohio. It was on close out. They may have some left. Good luck!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
