My dealer sayes there is no front bumper available yet. Are there any aftermarket bumpers yet??

I have had my SP700 exactly five months as of today. I got it on Sept. 28,01. I am also beginning to get frustrated with the lack of bumpers to fit my bike. Mine has the rectangular rear rack mounting system and therefore no rear bumper is available unless I change to the tubular rear rack mounting system. My dealer gave me last November, a copy of a Polaris memo stating they would have the rear bumper to fit my SP700 available December 1,2001. Their next memo said it would be available January 7,2002, but it is still not available. I tried early this week to E-mail Polaris customer service but they must have disconnected their E-mail so I wrote them a letter. In this letter I asked them if they are not going to produce a rear bumper to fit the SP700s produced betweem Aug.30 and Oct.30, if they would be willing to retrofit at no charge or at reduced cost my SP700 with the tubular rear rack mount system so that I can run a rear bumper. I also asked about the front and hopefully I will get some answers soon. The lack of accessories for the SP700 is really starting to get frustrating. I have not seen any aftermarket front bumpers. Not much of anything aftermarket yet for the 700 that I have seen. I'd be willing to bet that there are some products being tested.

My sp700 is also one of the first produced {OCT.11,01}, and has the rectangular rear rack system. I finally got my dble tube bumper for the rear on 2-6. It got back-ordered 2 times @ 2 weeks each time. The part no. is 2874114-067 {I think the last 3 digits is the paint code...-067 black...-136red...-156 chrome

Thanks for the info Scaryfast. I just called my dealer who was supposed to have it on order for me but they didn't. They did say it is available and will order it for me again. Hopefully it is not on backorder. They still have no information on the front bumper or grille guard.
