This maybe a dumb question but on the Sp500 and Sp700 is the true FWD engaged when backing up? My riding buddies where having this discusion the other day saying that due to the way the hubs work on the Sp500 and maybe on the newer diff. system of the Sp700 that the FWD system does not engage while backing up. I know for a fact that it sure works great going forward!
If anybody has some technical knowledge on this and would be willing to post it, I would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks ...MJSTX

It will engage if you push in the reverse override button.

Works both ways. Only difference is that in reverse, you must press the reverse override button.........it's a safety feature Polaris added that can be by-passed.
