I posted last week asking about tires. I managed to get one good post. Mike Chero recommended that I buy Holeshot tires. I found a place near me that sells them in a combo package. They are Holeshot XCT tires, mounted on Douglas .190 rims. The cost for 23x7-10 for the front (2 tires) is $190.00 plus tax. The backs (2 tires) are 22x11-10 at $220.00 plus tax. Are these really good tires? I like to ride the trails mostly. Some mud, and snow in the winter time. No jumping or anything too crazy. Does this sound like a good deal to all the experts out there?

Thats the same setup I have on mine. They work great for what they were made for. As for the price, try checking a couple places near where you live you might end up with a better overall price due to less shipping.

Thanks Ronnnn. This place is just a few miles from me. I'm trying to buy a decent tire/rim setup. The stock ones on my Scrambler are already dinged up. I was hoping buying these would be an end to that. I don't want to spend five hundred dollars on tires/rims if it's not going to help me. I'm just looking for advice. Thanks...

Try looking at the pure sport bandits also. I have that setup on mine with Douglas 190 rims. They can be run with no air pressure the sisewalls are so stiff and I have never had a flat and I ride in pretty rocky country.

400x,

It sounds good to me, I wish I could order a set from there! The rims are about $50 (each) and the tires about 60-$70 (each). It sounds like you got a bargin.
