clutch kit for 2000 sp 500

would like some feed back on clutchs. i have 26in. mud runners and everything else is stock. want more low and mid range dony care about losing top end speed

Forget the clutch kit... buy the Green spring for about $15-20. Cheap and will give you all the low end you need.

Got mine from RCR. I think they are all the same. They are just color coded as to their size/strength. Call Rick at RCR... he won't do you wrong!
The green one works great for me and several of my riding buddies, but it all depends on what you want out of the bike. Just call Rick and tell him what you want the bike to do and he will tell you which spring to use.

The number for Rick Ritter @ RCR is (618) 644-3211.

The spring I am referring to is the primary spring. If you pull the plastic clutch housing off the bike you will see the belt and all the other clutch components. The primary spring is the one towards the front of the bike. Just pull the front plate off and change out the spring. Replace the plate and plastic pvt cover and you are all set.
