I just wanted to take a minute to give credit where it is due. A few weeks back, I ordered the RCR stage 1 kit for the wife's '01 Trailblazer, and spoke to Rick personally (super nice guy). Well, I Finally got around to installing it this evening, and just had to run it on the street for a quick test......all I can say is WOW! Compared to stock, this thing is now an ANIMAL!!! Wheelies....no problemo! Lots more "bucksnort" and the install was a piece of cake - everything fit perfectly....obviously he engineers his products right the first time. Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS, Rick!

YEP
I MUST ALSO SAY HE IS A VERY NICE GUY.

I HAD E-MAILED HIM WITH NO RESPONSE FOR A LONG TIME.

HE TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME TO TALK ABOUT QUESTIONS I HAD.
THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I WAS TOLD TO CALL HIM BUT NEVER DID SO HE TOOK THE TIME TO CALL ME.

GREAT GUY. I AM VERY IMPRESSED

HOW LOUD IS THE BLAZER AFTER THE STAGE #1 KIT? AND DID YOU GO WITH LOW, MID OR HIGH END PIPE?

I WOULD LIKE TO PUT ONE ON MY WIFES BIKE BUT I DO NOT WANT IT LOUD AT ALL, PLUS I GO TO SILVER LAKE AND NEED TO MEET THE 92DB SOUND LEVEL.

Hey Buba, I went with the mid range kit....pipe, silencer, twin air, 150 main jet, and gray clutch spring...the wife wasn't all that interested in top speed (although that was improved as well). I really don't think the stage 1 makes the bike all that much louder than stock, but it has a much "gutsier" sound to it. I have no idea how many decibles it is now. By the way, the silencer does not have a spark arrestor in it, so maybe I should have kept that Turbine core 2 I sold you heh heh.

I believe you can also get a spark arrestor installed on the system for a little more $$$ I think it's $55.00 for all pipes. I'm definately going to install the stage 1 kit on my wife's while she is sleeping, lol, and then see if she notices. I told her I would wait a year to do this but what am I waiting for......night fall and some infra red lighting, lol

and a well deserved HURRAY for Rick, keep up the GREAT WORK !!
