i hear this all the time, blaster this, blaster that. the reason i bought my trailblazer is quite simple.. Blaster is WAY to small size wise for me, trailblazer is close to same topend, and i need reverse for the type of wheeling i do. I ride pits all the time, but still winter ride and trailride in minnesota. My friend has a 92 blaster and rides with us sometimes and when we race up bigger hills in the pits, if he beats me its never by much. its about half and half on who wins.... anyways.. that is why i bought my blazer....

PS the only downside i dont like about my TB is Autotranny, i am gettin use to it now, prefer it over Wet clutch, but Preffer full Manual over all..

98trailblazer,

Not to mention a Trailblazer's ease of use. If you buy one for a second machine, it'll take a rank amateur about five minutes worth of instruction to be riding.

Frankly, after owning an auto tranny for so long I can't see the need for a manual clutch on a machine.

well maybe because a blaster will go in so many more places than any 2 wheel drive polaris and it is so much more fun to ride a trail blazer will do a wheelie if your very luckie and the tb sounds like crap!!!!

Not to mention the trailblazer actually has breaks that work.

I am not sure exactly what your talking about when you say, If he beats me its not by much at all!!...I just so happen to own both of the bikes that you are talking about.I purchased the TB for my girl friend and the Blaster for the kids. After the first ride up the Dunes we Decided it would be wise to put the kids on the TB. I Too like the TB size and stability. However if your looking for the speed and the overall performance......BLASTER. I know you probably wont want to hear that but try and tell the misses differently.....she was the rider

I would agree the Blaster is more bang for the buck, I have a 00 TB and was beet up the hill several times by a Blaster, no compotion really on my part just fun. I know this is not something that you would normaly admit. But why hide it. The truth hurts sometimes
