Maybe if we knew a few more details it would help find the problem. These guys on here are loaded with good information, so someone should have a solution if provided with enough information........like
1. did it happen all of a sudden while you where rideing?
2. had you just refilled fuel tank?
3. had you been rideing in extremely dusty location?
4. deep water crossing, or drowned it out?
5. have you changed the spark plug?
6. is it smokeing
7. have you checked the muffler? is it clogged with mud or filled with water? you said it had a hollow tone from the carb area, maybe it can't exhaust.

Sorry if some of these questions seem stupid, but sometimes the simple stuff will fool ya! DALE

none of those questions seem stupid, I will try to tell you all I can.

1. did it happen all of a sudden while you where rideing?....NO, IT SEEMED TO PROGRESSIVELY GET WORSE.
2. had you just refilled fuel tank?.....YES, MY BROTHER HAD JUST FILLED THE TANK...HUMMMMMMM..I DID'NT THINK ABOUT THAT..
3. had you been rideing in extremely dusty location?....NO DUST INVOLVED.
4. deep water crossing, or drowned it out?....NO WATER INVOLVED..
5. have you changed the spark plug?.....I CHANGED THE SPARK PLUG WHEN IT STARTED ACTING UP..DID'NT HELP
6. is it smokeing...NO SMOKE
7. have you checked the muffler? is it clogged with mud or filled with water? you said it had a hollow tone from the carb area, maybe it can't exhaust....I HAV'NT CHECKED THE MUFFLER, I WILL BE CHECKING THAT NOW THAT YOU MENTION IT..
