If I had a dollar for everyone who just picked up their machine from the shop and it still didnt work, I'd be richer than rich. I took my quad to the polaris dealer to fix what he said was a simple carb adjustment. As you guessed by now, I got home and could hardly get it off my truck to drive in my shed. It sputters as bad as it did when I took it in. And when the engine dies, I can hardly start it.
Now when I try to drive, it lacks power so I try and accelerate and it sputters so bad it just quits. It makes a guy wonder what some mechanics do after they fix something.
Especially carb work. You cant adjust a carb and not drive it. Unless he feels lazy and just rev's it up a couple of times and call it good.
I cant wait to take it back so they can find the real problem and charge me an arm and leg to fix it.
I know this happens often, but its still frustrating for everyone who has been through it. Its not like we have all of the time in the world to haul our machines back and forth to the dealer. You could bet if the dealers were charged for our time and labor hauling our quads back to the dealer after they so called fixed it, they would be a little more careful to make sure they were fixed right.

Check the throttle cable to make sure it has no slack in it.
