Muddy4Life,
True, but the way I see it is, why can't there be a little bragging once in a while??? As long as I, or someone else, doesn't go into the Honda(Ymaha, etc.)forum and brag about my Polaris, then all is good! MUDD700T is just a proud Polaris owner. There's nothing wrong with him saying what he said. What's the difference if he says it or the magazines say it??? It's been said in the past in various magazines...and we all know that just because it's in a magazine doesn't make it true, and MUDD700T saying it doesn't make it true.

Bill,
How does your Xplorer run now with the milled head and Wiseco piston? Will it beat a 660 Grizz yet?
Sorry to hear your Xplorer has made you bitter toward Polaris.
The Xlporer 400 is a darn good machine as is the Sportman's 500 and 700's. Now I see for 2003 the Xplorer is gone as is the 2WD Scrambler 400...so now the only 2 cycle made by Polaris will be the 250 Trail Blazer.

Hey HondaGuy,
If I was going to wait everytime Honda announces a new quad I would probably never buy a quad. People say that other companies rush models into production, but I think Honda rushes to announce their new models, and then people will wait a year to get it.
I can only assume that they do this because they are forever playing catch-up, and they need a way to try and keep their customores from shopping elsewhere.
If I'm ready to buy a quad, I want it NOW! I don't want the dealer to tell me that he has to get one shipped in from here or there, and I certainly don't want to wait for a year to buy a quad that no one knows anything about.
Everytime I've bought a quad, motorcylce or snowmobile (which hasn't been that often) it's been one that's on the floor, that I really like, and that the dealer is motivated to sell. Maybe after I win a Lotto I'll start buying things sight unseen.
(Although I did come close to laying out the money for an 03 Firecat. That thing is hard to resist)

Nothing at all wrong with a little ATV braggin once in awhile, just the same, nothing wrong with the truth either. He should be very excited,he just bought a nice ATV,I hope it works out fine for him.
Im not sure if I can beat my buds new 660 Grizz yet?We have not since re-raced with the new mods yet.I really cant wait to get rid of my Xplorer and I dont really care if I can beat him or not.I just want to sell the Polaris before something else goes wrong.Im working at a Honda dealership[sales] and except for the reliability thing,im NOT all that excited about the new 650 Rincon either. The new 2002 Grizz has its problems and I dont really like solid axle or the lever operated locker handle on the Kawi twin.I want IRS,DISK brakes, and the capability to LOCK all 4s.A huge motor is nice to.
My next 4x4 is going to be a TOUGH call?

Bill,
I really hope you buy a 660 Grizz. I just got back from a riding weekend with a new 660 Grizz. I had my new 500 HO Limited for the ride. At the end of the day we decide to drag race. I out weighed him by 75 pounds and you know how heavy Polaris quads are. Well we raced up to 50 mph and he beat me by exactly half a quad. Imagine if I let my other friend who weighs the same as the other guy race my HO.
So please quit with the anti Polaris blather, retire your self to the Yamaha forum and think happy thoughts.

Odin,
if you dont care for my so called ANTI Polaris blather, its as simple as not reading my posts.I have every reason to dislike Polaris ATVs the same way you like them, after all,if you owned two new ones and they traeted you like they did me,you'd feel the same way.
WOA,
be careful with what you say about Polaris,ODIN will have something to say to you negative.[lol]
