those darn rubber bands

I have had my polaris for 1.5 months now and have had to replace the belt twice. I had it for one week and replaced it for the first time. Rode for a while then souped it up a little. well today was my firsy full day of ridin with the new mods and the damn belt went out.( I say full day, but more like 3hrs)I am getting pi$$ed of about this. $35.00 every 2-3 weeks for a belt,come on!I use a stock belt buy the way. I trail ride and go dune ride. Please help!

Don't know what to say except something isn't right. I got 5000 miles from the original belt on my Xplorer. Are you sure the pulley alignment is right? Are the pulleys functioning properly?

I got about 1000 on my Blazer, stock belt, with RCR's pipe like yours...something isn't lining up correctly

I had a problem with belts also...9 belts 600miles.
When everyone stopped telling me it was my riding and started digging into it,it turned out to be a PTFE washer that sits between the one way clutch and the inner sheeve
It was half broken,so when the broke side came up it would shread the belt to a pile of string

I'll agree, there is no way that the belt could go out that fast without there being a larger problem.
