Between my self and four friends, we put 360 hard miles on my stock sp700 yesterday, only stopping for gas. The results are:

1. Average MPG 12
2. Oil consumption 1 pint
3. Top speed 52 MPH (with a 200 pound driver)
4. One nasty grinding noise coming from the right rear brake
5. Rattle in the head light pod
6. Coolant leak
7. 5 very tired old men
8. One dirty SP700
9. One ear to ear grin on my face from having to much fun…

360 miles in 1 day, man I got to ride with you! BTW....how many of you slow your 4wheelin down any due to summer. I ride the "mountains" so in the heat I dont go near what I do in the winter. It gets pretty hot here(heat and HUMIDITY) so between that and the ticks, this guy concentrates on fishing. What about yall?

my 700 will has the same top speed as my 400ex. However, if it is the slightest bit uphill or with a wind in your face the 700 will slow down considerably, the 400 keeps goin strong.

360 miles in one day must have been a workout for that machine!! What kind of riding were you guys doing? How many hours was the SP700 ridden that day? The most I've managed by myself was roughly 300 miles in one day of riding mostly firelanes. That was riding all out on my DS650 for 6 straight hours only stopping for gas! I had more time to ride, but I was completely exhausted and hungry!! What's the most you guys have ridden in one day?

We not I put 360 miles on it in 12 1/2 hours, we were on the Arkansas river so we hit water, sand, mud and rocks. The most I have done in one day was 150 miles (never again) Im getting to old to try it again.
