Anyone total a 4 Wheler and have had dealings with an insurance company? I am wondering how the payoff is calculated. Mine is a 2001 with 300 miles/40 hours and 10 months old.

The insurance companies look at totaling a unit when the damage amounts to 75% of the value of the unit and they follow the blue book values pretty close

 

mine had 400 miles on 2000 expolrer 400 they paid me 5300 no questions asked i paid 5700 tax included

 

My friend totaled his Honda Rubicon twice. THe insurance paid both times-$3000, $2500, and never droped him. He had to send them pictures of the wreck, and that was that. good luck! P.S. Both times he had to pay $250. No Big Deal, though

 

you can scrap the other one, I kinda need a new muffler ;-)

 

Got the new Sportsman yesterday. The Goodyear Wrnagler tires are top-notch! The silver looks great but I miss the OD Green (do not like the new green).
