I was replaceing the fan,
and switching the superwinch to a warn
and everything was going great....untill I noticed the balljoint (under the strut)was shot. It's all loose and flapping around

Is there any problems I'll run into if i change it myself?
Like getting the balljoint off then a new one on?
Any special tools needed?
I see the balljoint is only$5-6.

If it's not a problem I would like to do it myself,
if its a problem I could send it to the dealer.
Would the extended warrenty cover it?

Thanks for any help
