I started to look into this when I was selling my blaster on Ebay. Luckily a guy bought it close enough where I could get a liitle extra in gas money. Before you ship it you have to drain all the fluids. Next go to Polaris or another dealership and see if they have any crates. (easier than building one yourself) Then call a shipping compant to get quotes. The one I see most people use is forward air. I don't know if you have to bring it to them or if they will pick up at your home. That is all the farther I got inot checking it out. Hope it gets you started.

I bought a quad off of ebay in Iowa and had it shipped to Washington state. It cost like $400+/-. These are the shippers I used http://www.jcmotors.com/shipping_atv.htm They had good communication with me and will ship quads uncrated. As far as draining the fluids goes it is considered hazardous material and is illegal to ship without proper permits. Mine was shipped with all the fluids still in it though. Hope this helps, Darrell
