I figure 2-strokes will eventually be no more and that sucks. But, what would be worse is not being able to get parts for what we already have. What do you all think the chances are of that happening ?

How many years have Honda 250 R parts been available? It will never happen.

Only new models will be extinct. Manufacturers will still legally be able to sell parts for older models. Look at Honda Trikes. They were no longer produced back in the eighty's. You can still get parts for them right? Keith

I have a friend who has a 1984 225Dx 3 wheeler and he still finds parts for it. Yeah I dont' seeh how the threat of two stroke polution can even come close to factories and they don't stop them, once again it is who has the most money. How about snowmobiles are they going 4-stroke and can you buy them in California?

I might be wrong. But I think the 2-Stroke ATV's will always be around. With the new types of oil and everything else, they are here to stay.
