Removing Decals

Bruce, back in the early 90's when I was racing quads, I found decal protectors in the form of a clear adheisive sheets at Magic Racing 1-800-999-4594 or they have ads in 4- Wheel Atv Action

the factory manual describes the re-installation of warning stickers, which does involve heat. Goo-b-gone does not work on the plastic stickers, it cant penetrate and break down the glue, like it can on bumper stickers etc. I had a few sore fingers from picking and rubbing until they were all gone.

hairdryer, then when cold, spray on brake cleaner, will take off any additional adhesive left behind. Easy on the rubbing, just enough...

AT the factory were some think i don,t work at. All the goo gone is used for is to remove the residue after the decal is removed.Then it is warmed with a self igniting propane torch. Then the decal is reapllied if there is any air bubbles in the decal you can remove them by *****ing them with a pin and then squeage them out. This lets the air out.You can take away small scratches in your plastic by heating the plastic then spray it with pledge. You then rub it with cheese cloth. This will make it look like new as long as the scratches are not to bad
