I e-mailed ngk and asked them to cross reference the champion RC7YC that comes in the sp700. They answered with the NGK BKR7E. Has anyone tried this plug in their 700 and if so, how did it perform? I have seen posts where a lot of owners are using the ngk bkr6E and I have also tried the bkr6e but I did not notice any difference in performance. The 7E is a new one on me. Thanks!

 

I am running the nkg-bkr7e in my 700 and no problems. starts like a dream too.

NGK's are better than Champion plugs in my opionion. But a noticable performance gain is not likely. Plug may last longer, easier starting..... things like that though.
