I was thinking of going to Waynoka for the 4th and was wondering how hot it is there in July. It's pretty hot here at the dunes here in Texas. I checked the weather for the week and it shows not to be to bad. Anyone been to Little Sahara in July? I appreciate any replys given.

I went with a group of friends last july 4th. I figured there would be lots of people. It was really slow. You could have any campsite you wanted. It was around 95 degrees everyday out there and just sucked. You could only ride for about 15 hard minutes at a time before you were looking for some sort of shade to rest in. They have no fireworks show and you can't shoot them inside the park at all. Also if you plan to go, pick up lots of bottlerockets. You could finance your whole trip just by selling them out there. There were people driving around in the park and in town selling them for 5 bucks a gross. I guess their illegal there but people were shooting them everywhere in the town of waynoka and nobody said anything. We will be waiting till it gets cool again to make another trip there.
