I just bought a 2002 500ho, I was wondering if it is normal slow throttle response. It seems like it a second or so for the clutch to engage?

 

If it is brand new and not broke in yet you will find a few things not up to par. Power being one of them. I can tell you that it should not take a second or so to engage the clutch. Are you punching the throttle or easing into it? Does it matter in low or high? If it is new and under warranty, the dealer should be able to take of it for you (no charge) or at least let you know if you have a problem or not.
