When will the senseless slaughter stop?

I checked out the 2003 line up of Polaris ATV's and I found that the 400 Scrambler is now the 400 Trailblazer. So how many more name changes can the 400 go through. Well let's see, my quad is the 99 400 Sport and as far as I know from then, that was what they were called. Then sometime around I think, 2000 or 2001 the 400 went on to be called the Scrambler 400 and now Trailblazer...
It's going to be fun when it comes down to ordering parts and other things, so get yourself ready for the 2004 400's could be called the Trailscrambler or the Scramblazer, SportScrambler, Trailsport, Blazertrail, Sportblazer, Scrambler 400 Sport Trailblazer, and so on and so on. Wait.....Predator Sport 400???? Hhhhmmm an automatic 400 on the mx frame?
That being said, I can only hope the the 400 will some day find a permanent home for it's name.
Have a good one Rictor

I think they should go with just numbers and letters
like; 400STX or just something totally new. Lets just
have a competion to name next years 400 and 250 and send
the results to Polaris. I'm sure it will receive the usual
treatment. "FILE 13" What about that yellow plastic again!
Did anybody notice that the weight for the TB250 went up to
461 lbs. How is that possible? I really don't think Polaris
listens to a thing that the buying public wants.
HEY--- POLARIS---HOW ABOUT A LIGHTWEIGHT AUTOMATIC MX QUAD!
NOT--its just a pipe dream. Now that Polaris has the Predator
I think the 250 and 400 two strokes will get pushed to the back
shelf.
On another note. The small fan that I installed in the intake of
the clutch housing keeps the clutch about 5-10 degrees cooler.
Maybe a bigger fan will really do the trick!!!

From what I understand Polaris is going to phase out all to stroke quads by the year 2006...They did away with the explorer line this year, and it's only a matter of time when the trailblazer's follow suit..It is a shame.....

I think I'll just start buying all the 2-strokes up that I can
and hook up with HPD to start my own line of performance quads.
