Attempting to follow me up a rather large, steep, loose dirt hill, My girlfriend flipped her TrailBoss end for end 3 times. When it was all done, and the dust had settled we started looking for broken/bent parts. There was a lot of bent things, but we were able to fix those easy enough. The only thing we couldnt fix was the break lever. The whole lever and mechanism is in tacht, but the clamp that holds it on the handle bars is completely broken. Does anybody know how much this is to repair? Do we need to replace that whole unit, or can we just get new housing with a new clamp and transfer all the good peices (internal pump, lever, etc) over to the new one?

THanks!

I just put my quad in for a broken brake lever if your brake broke at the handle bar then you will need a whole new brake its 100.00 dollar i ask the guy if you can save parts on the brake lever he said you can save the brake lever it self but the rest is all one piece it will cost 100.00 dollars for the lever it self is 23.oo dollars.

<< Broken Break Lever >>

I guess in this situation you can call it a "break" lever, but most of the time it's called a brake lever.

That is the part I broke. I looked it up on that parts website and sure enough... 99.00 Oh well, we got it fixed for now. A little welding, a little metal strap, a little nut and bolt and walla... good as new. The brake is no longer broke!
