I'm interested in purchasing a new quad preferably a Sportsman 700. How does it compare with the speed and acceleration of a SCR 500? My SCR 500 has a few modes and wips my next door neighbors 650 Kawi pretty good would the 700 be up to this. I just need more rack space and am looking for a better ride, otherwise the SCR500 would stay I love it, but need a bit more utility.

If you get the 700, get a clutch kit DEFINATELY. If I was in your situation, I would go for the SP 600. From what I hear it is almost just as powerful as the 700, and I would guess that it guzzles less gas too.

the 600 is a better quad for the money, i know it's only a couple hundred dollars less, but i hear it outperforms the 700. as for your question about the sp700 racing a p650, no way in HEII!!!!
