Well I guess you are really going to open up a can of worms
with this post.---But to answer your question. I have two quads
and both are Trailblazers. One is a 99 the other a 00. The 99 is
fully modified and the 00 is stock. To this very day I have had
zero problems with either one. I do all the maintenance myself.
Ya- know- oil, airfilters and lube etc. I would say they are very
reliable. I don't know about dealer service because I haven't had to
take one in for service!

I gess it really dependes on what kind of rideing you want to do.
I have a 2000 400 scrambler w/mods.I have found that this is not a motocross track quad. I've broken the frame in 5 places, snapped an axel, broken 2 chaines, 2 steering stems 2 sets of renthal bars I think I'll stop there. But as far as trail-riding or creek riding,
hill climing. I dont think you can go wrong with a polaris.
a big plus is that the 2 strokes are very easy to work on.
no matter what you get there all fun to ride.

I do fast-paced trail riding and some jumping with my Scrambler 500 4x4. So far, zero problems. Make sure you've got a good grease gun. (There are lots of "convenient" grease fittings on the Polaris machines). If you're getting a Scrambler or Trailblazer, pay special attention to chain tension and lube. Everybody whom I've met personally who owns a Polaris has been a satisfied Polaris owner.

I have the good old 2-stroke, old three chain drive 400 4X4 Sportsmans Model. At first I had major problems, (which I won't get into right now), But once I had everything taken care of under warranty, it's been running like a charm, wherever I want to go. :-)
I don't mind greaseing it & it's pretty simple to work on and... I trust her.

It drives me nutz all these people saying Honda are SOO reliable, My 97 300ex has left me stranded several times, I HATE IT it's the biggest P.O.S I've ever owned, the reason I bought it was because everyone said Honda =Reliable, sorry to ruin Hondas reputation, but that's just how it is, in my opinion, they are really going into a downhill slide as the years go on. I've had older hondas, and they were great, never left me stranded, now my 300ex won't start.
I'm now riding my Modified Trail Boss, it's been riden HARD, everyday riding for the past 6 years, still going strong. It's the best atv I've ever owned always starts for me, has yet to leave me stranded, unless running out of gas. GO POLARIS. and my Mojave won't run.
