For snorkeling a sportsmen you can plug the exhaust off of the clutch exhaust port by the fuel valve useing a hot glue gun and a peace of plastic from the same peace you are plugging off.next take a saw blade and cut a slice 1 1/2 inch long on top of the same peace on the outer edge facing out from the gas tank. This well give you more air presure going out,and still lets your cooling fan cool your clutch compartment.Plus lets you go to the top of your seat with water or muck. Not letting in any nasty's in your clutch compartment.

Has any one tryed to wrap over to the shifter side to maintain the trap protection that having the opening on the bottom provides.

I have seen some other units with a replacement hose from a "Shop Vac" jamed in their bike to get protection.

I really was swamped last week trying to cross a channel barely ball deep but the waves were sloshing up and filling my clutch case!
