I've heard it fits in the frame quite well. The rear mounts bolt right in, some modification to the front and top mount. The clutch lines up if the rear stock mount is used. Clutch guard even fits right on. The biggest job would be mounting the radiator in place. If any of you try it let us know how it turns out.

It is not unusual for a company to detune a motor before putting it into a quad. The raptor/grizz motor, detuned after it orginated in a street bike. The Kawi 650 I heard was detuned after it was designed and put into the quad, even though it was designed for that quad.
If honda came out with the 450ex, it would be detuned as well as the 650ex, whatever they come out with, it will be detuned
and it is not difficult to swap efi for a carb.
