im saying 60-62 depending on the ground, altitude, and the sort.

my 02 500 4x4 hit 68, down tar of course, wide open for a few miles

we're talking h.o. motors here, not pre-99 non h.o. motors
for the scrambler.. my 01 sportsman 500 h.o. does around 63mph
with a 220 lb man driving it.. the scramber is easily 2-3 mph faster
on top end.. it is 125 lbs lighter than my sportsman...it's quicker off
the line and through the whole power band... it'll smoke a sportsman..
but I shouldn't be comparing a race horse to a clydesdale.. one is meant
for speed, the other for utility...but, the scrambler can easily do 65 mph
plus, depending on the weight of the driver.. could be 1-2 mph more than
65 with a lighter driver..

very true, i wiegh 135, mine hit 68, Just think about it, its got a 500 H.O. engine, ALOT lighter than a sportsman, A sport transmission, and according to a Radar Gun, it hit 68 on tar.
