fire is one of my greatest fears. i don't insure my ATV's but i'm thinking about it.
a close friend lost a home to fire that he had owned for over 50 years. sure the insurance paid him a huge insurance check, but he lost something more that day that could never be replaced......

Four, the Wife works for a large winery here in CA and they buy 20 new ones every year and keep them for two years (doing the math, that means they have 40 at any given time.) They sell them to a limited few people for what the dealer would give them as a trade in value. So, I pick up two-year old Trail Boss 250's for $1200.
The first year I bought two.
Two years later, I sold one for $2000 and bought two more for $2400.
Las year I sold all three I had left for about $2000 each and then bought my DS650.
I have my name down for two more this year (they are now the Trail Boss 325's.) I will turn around and sell them for about $2200-$2500 each.
These are the quads that got me into the sport. I think the Polaris quads are particularly great for first-time riders or friends you take out. The automatic does cause the quads to be heavy and a little underpowered for serious dune riding but, for most riding, they will get you around fine. The full foot rest and no shifting made it very user friendly to others I took out.

Three,
My first, was a 1997 Trailblazer which Celeste still rides.
My second, was a 1997 Sport which I still have (invested over $6000 in aftermarket goodies)
My third was a 1997 Trailblazer for the kids which I bought used and then sold. It was abused and woudn't stay running.
