01 expedition 425 over heating

Check to make sure your radiator fins aren't clogged with mud. Spray it out nice and clean, then check it with a flash light to make sure it is clean.
Next, check to see if your fluid is the right level. When you open the pressure cap, it should be up to where the fluid goes into the over flow tube.
If everything else seems fine, I would guess that either your fan, or fan sensor is bad.
