So if Polaris adds another 100cc's to the sp500,what will the gain in horsepower be. I think Polaris has refrained from building a 600 because they know the gain in horsepower would be minimal. As far as the 600 in the Grizz,Yamaha borrowed it from the XT, because it's proven itself a winner in all types of endurance races such as Baja. I would really like to see the Grizzly overheat so I could believe it really does happen.

I agree with you swac but if you are not selling don't advertise some of these guys just ask for it...most of the forums start off in here with intelligent answers and a comparison of what people think are best and then someone comes along with their smarta## remarks. I wouldn't think about going over to the yamaha section and making a remark like yamaha sucks or etc. why can't people just give answers and back them up with facts unless there is no facts to it...

If you guys think your sportsman's are so powerful I've got some reading for you to do that might open your eves a little. Go to www.dynojet.com. and go to the new jet kit for atv's section. They dynoed some of the newer bikes in stock form and then with a jet kit. That big powerful sportsman only has 18.8 rear wheel hp!!! the grizzly has 23.2 hp. And the one I like the best is my old outdated wolverine. Go to the product reviews section of atv conn. and look at the article with the FMF pipe on the wolverine. The wolverine in stock form has 18.2 hp at the wheels. Not bad eh for an outdated 350cc air cooled motor in a bike that is over 200lbs lighter than your sportsmans.Any responses to this???
By the way you honda guys aint gonna like this test cause the big 450 only has 11.9 hp. DYNOS DONT LIE.

You should change your Username to something else because you don't know the true meaning of ATVing. And the only reason I came to this Polaris Forum was because one of my brothers had been here and told me how bad of an enfleunce you was to others. People come here to see how good of a machine they have bought. And they come here feeling dissapointed not happy. I mean do you want to make a 30 page post about all the Polaris 500's I have pulled out of mudholes. Atleast I can make other's feel glad about there ATV. I only wrote what I did because of you writing remarks against MY atv. As for mudholes, Louisiana has some of the worst one's in the US. I invite you to the annual Marango Suicide Ride. It's this July. Then you will see what ATVs are made of. Peace!!!!!!!

Who needs to check out www.dynojet?I draged my co workers 98 Grizz[with my 99 500cc Sportsman] and I beat him in every part of the race.Thats the only dyno reading I needed.MonsterGrizzy, you to should probably cool your jets to.ATVing has never posted anything that would be a bad influance to anyone. If you think your Grizz is so bad, line it up someday with a little 400cc 4x4 Xplorer.Better have something covering your head and mouth.''YOU'LL BE COVERED IN DUST''

HAHAHA, I would love to see that. The explorer would be gone. Anyways, I don't understand why you guys are so intrested in speed. These are big, heavy machines. They aren't meant to go blazing fast. If you want speed get a sport. And about the grizzly pulling a sportsman, I don't beleive it.
