<< I'm glad you're happy with your purchase. You've made 4 grand if you can sell it for 22 k. Around here the paper is loaded with high dollar Harleys that don't seem to be moving to well.
I'm comparing cruisers to cruisers,not crotch rockets, and from what Ive seen the Harleys don't run as strong and spend more time in the shop and cost a lot more. Course I guess that only matters if you're going to hang on to them and not sell them and get a new one every year. >>




Bwahahahaha, like i've been saying all along. OLD REPS die hard. When harley was owned by AMF they made real crappy bikes and uninformed people still associate that with Harley's. Out of the 20 or so harley's owned by myself and friends. NOT A SINGLE one has gone into the shop for repairs. Harleys are just as dependable as any jap bike and I own both. Doesn't it make you wonder why all the import bikes are COPYING Harley? Things that make you go HMMMMMM.

Harleys don't run as strong? You have to be kidding right. Harleys are LEGENDARY as torgue monsters, not speed demons. SO, what do you mean by STRONG?

Currently at my local harley shop, there is a 4 month waiting list for a harleys. As they arrive they are spoken for with the exception of sportsters, all others you have to wait for. Not so with my Kawi dealer I can pick any model I want tomorrow. THings that make you go hmmmmm.

BTW, each time I go to bike show or gathering someone tries to buy my bike for more that I paid for it. So, I don't think I'll have a problem selling it if i want to.


Import bikes are following Harley, import atv's are following polaris... THings that make you go hmmmmmm.

It the motorcycling community that's how these BIKES are referred to either by the Harley guys or the RICERS. So, don't get your panties in a bunch.

You see I happen to live in the USA and this country grants me certain rights. One is the right to free speech. SO, I'm VERY offended you are trying to take my right to free speech away by trying to impose your thinking twisted political correctness on me. Not knowing me or my Nationality you should mind your own business and keep your values to yourself and not try to impose them on otheres. I would never tell you how to think or speak, let alone tread on your rights as a free thinking person.

Man it's hard to find an honest Harley rider. Only honest one I know of is my nieces husband and he will tell you other bikes are more dependable, faster , take off or top end, that it's just a click. You know you're not withit if your not riding a Harley. LOL My brother has a new dyna wide glide, been to the shop I don't know how many times and still runs like crap. But man he sure does look good pulled up to the bar talking about how great Harleys are. I really used to like Harleys till I saw what a sheep it will turn you into. I'm sure you know what I mean.

 

Barko you should be careful on who you call a liar. I'll gladly show you my service receipts, all one of them for oil change and lube, for my harley. I'll put up 20k dollars of mine to your 5k if you can produce ANY repair bills for my Harley or by brothers harley&quot;S. Time to put up or shut up. Then we'll talk about honesty.

Yeah, you know someone who knows someone who has a brother who's harley has been in the shop a million times. Well I know someone who knows someone who has a sister who's boyfriend's Honda has been in the shop a million times for all kinds of repairs. You just can't find an honest Honda rider. LOL bets on loud mouth, show me your money.

The only problem I have with Harley's is the greedy dealers. Harley retails a Road King for 18 g's and the dealer up's to 20. Maybe this is what keeps the resale up on used ones, but at some point it's got to flatten out. Five years from now the Rodie will cost $27,000 or more. There are dealer's who count on volume for their sales, and this is where you will find your better deals. Forget the insentive programs for they can give you $2000 worth of schit and still hit retail price.

Simmer down, wasn't calling you a liar. It's not a friend of a friend it's my brother. He's had quite a few problems with it, had it &quot; fixed &quot; and it still doesn't run as well as his old Intruder.
I'll stick to the sheep comment. Most anybody I've ever seen get a Hardly Fergouson, Pretty soon their dressing diferent, you know leather with fringe, they get tattoos, start carrying wallets with chains on them, start wearing bandannas, start needing a haircut, a bath, LOL. I really think there fine for a bike but certainly no better than anything else. Most everybody that gets one around here all of sudden thinks they're too good to ride with &quot; non Harleys &quot; , like you ain't worth anything if you ride something else. Maybe none of these things applies to you , but around here it seems to be true, and that's what turns me off about them. I'm glad you like yours, enjoy.
