i have a 2001 trailboss 325 and i was thinking about going on some pa state trails and i was wondering if the aaen megaphone muffler is louder than 99db. anyone know how loud it is? thanks

One guy told me 94-98db.

The AAEN megaphone muffler is much louder than stock. I even got one with the baffles installed and it's a little quieter than with out them. There is a power gain but not enough for the increased noise level for me. Don't know how many db it has. good luck

I just got an AAEN megaphone with the supertrapp spark arrester. And I argee with sirmill.

I have the Aaen and have never been questioned or checked by a ranger or anyone. It is louder than stock but the people I ride with have louder exhaust than me.
