I have a 95 Trail Boss 250. The engine siezed up on it yesterday. How can I determine if the oil pump quit, or if it was running too lean? If I can free the motor up, could I bypass the oil injection, and mix the fuel from now on?

You can pull the carb of of the boot and crank the motor over and watch where the oil injection line goes in, and you should see the oil pumping out. I have done this on a couple of atvs and snowmobiles.

But, if it's not pumping oil, is is possible to go with the mix instead?
