"True 4wd" is not what i would call it.
True 4wd can been found on a Wolverine or a Foreman.
These parts are turning when switched to 'on' as the quad simply rolls forward, because the hubs are engaged
The tranny is pushing them only after slippage in the back.

Actually,
All Honda's are 3 wheel drive.
Same with the Wolverine.
All Polaris's are true 4X4. (all 4 tires are turning when needed)
The back tires only turn 1/5th of a rotation before the one way clutches in the hub lock up the 4X4.
