RaptorRider A Honda Recon makes around 16HP, so there is no way
a 325 Trailboss makes only 13HP. The Recon is actually only a 229cc engine.

A Warrior is much more powerful because it weighs less than 400 lbs. A
TB weighs a lot more than the Warrior. You can't just compare two different 4-wheelers by comparing the engine size. You have to look at how much they weigh.

Elbongo,
Where are you getting your information? A Recon makes 16hp? Where, at the crank? Maybe. It does NOT have 16rwhp, sorry. And, I'm still curious on what hp you believe the Trailboss has since you disputed 13.x, but didn't add any additional info. Not to mention a Warrior is not more powerful because it weighs far less, it is more powerful, because it's MORE POWERFUL!

Granted, however, weight does play a huge factor, but in this case there really is no argument since these 2 quads are apples and oranges.

iszdan,

I have no doubt about your speed, 48MPH is absolutely reasonable,my post did not target you or anybody else.I just made a comment.
And yes the trailboss was a OK for nonmuddy conditions. But I was sick of pulling my wife out of every mudhole we met,so I bought a Magnum 325 4x4.
The Magnum is for sale now, since she started liking IRS quads, and all of the sudden,......... she developed a back pain?????????while riding a non IRS machine...........!

I dont mean to but in but a trailboss does make 13 hp at the crank. And why is it not possable for the Rincon to put out 16 hp when it is onlt 229cc. My trailblazer stock puts out 22hp and it is only a 250. 75cc smaller than the Trailboss. So it is possable for a smaller cc bike to put out more hp but i can bet that the smaller 250cc Trailblazer wont pull nearly as much as the Trailboss or the Rincon. The Trailboss might not have alot of hp but it has alot of torque. And as far as the 250 Trailblazer being to small. That is not true.I am 6'1" and 235lbs and it fits very well for me unlike the warrior or something of that sort. Yes the Trailblazer is slow and heavy stock but with some minor mods they can really hold there own. I can tear up warriors all day long on the trails and i spent way less to do it. And thats no joke!!!
