What was wrong

A while back(a couple months ago) I came on here with a question about my Ranger 6x6 (1999) and it not running worth a damn. The former Polaris Dealer (mainly a Honda Dealer) no longer is a Polaris Dealer and really didn't want to work on it so after having the carburetor rebuilt, taking it to a private shop who could not figure it out (they thought it was electrical) I finally took it to the new Polaris Dealer who opened up in the interim who also had a helll of a time figuring it out. They thought it was electrical too, but swapped out all the parts and it still didn't run. They talked to some Polaris guy from the factory that said there had been some problems with the motor mounts, and the motor starting to vibrate so bad it it vibrated the carburetor and caused some valve or valves to stick open and flood out the carburetor. I don't know anybody that would ever have figured that out. That was the problem. Also they told me that somebody had got in there and screwed up the wiring and although they had it running they thought I should get a new wiring harness. I said nobody ever screwed with the wiring except one time we got stuck without a key and rewired the ignition. He said it was a lot more than that. Anyway what we found outthere is when I bought it I had a speedometer installed and the original dealer went in there and butchered up the wiring to put it in. Anyway now about a Thousand Bucks poorer, I am finally back on the road.

I am from Lubbock Texas. I see most people on here post what they ride at the bottom. Is that in your signature. I have the Polaris Ranger I questioned about and a 2 x 4 300 Arctic Cat use them mainly for work though I am a surveyor. They come in extremely handy sometimes.
