How to override the Override button?

I put a nylon tie strap around the base of the switch and snug it up. Push in the override switch and slip the tie strap over the button and do your snow plowing or whatever. When you want the switch to function normaly just slide the tie strap off the button and your back in business. No fuss no muss.

Try looking in your wiring harness. My friend got some water in there and it shorted out, and now his override doesn't work. The bad thing is, his battery runs out after one ride.

Thanks for the suggestion ox. My primary suspicion is the clutch/belt as well. Since it’s still under warranty for another few weeks I may let the dealer play with it.

I know this sounds weird but Jviper85 can turn his key to far and it sticks there.It is like always having the override button on.This is on a trailblazer.See if it works on any of you guys qauds.I think it is weird to.
