Default Front Suspension Brainstorm

Has anyone ever thought of putting a traditional double A-arm suspension onto a Polaris frame. I was thinking you could just get the 250r spindles from HPD, some 250r A-arms, and weld some brackets onto the Polaris frame for the A-arms to mount to. Then get some aftermarket shocks made for a 250r and make a bracket for the top of them to mount to the frame. Would it be this easy or am I missing something. It wouldn't have to be a 250r though it could be anything. What are your ideas?

There was a guy in ATVSport magazine that cross-bred a 250R frame and a sport 400. Maybe you can get a hold of this issue at atvnews.com...you could order a back issue (last month, might still be in stores) and give the guy they interviewed a call!

Yeah I saw that. That thing looked pretty sweet. I don't think I want to get involved in welding the frames together though. I think I will see if I can get a hold of him though and see if he has any ideas. Theoretically it should be pretty easy but who knows what type of balancing problems you can run into.
