First off you dont want aftermarket white spring it is a Polaris white spring. And it will help exclleration and you wont notice any topend loss.It is a simple job but be sure to mark the clutch housing with an X on the part yo take off and the part that stays on the bike.this unit is balanced and needs to be put back in the same place it came off.If you need help let me know. Look through some older posts to get some help and answers. Also be careful in colors especially when going aftermarket. The EPI white, for example, is alot more spring than the polaris white. Going with an oem white over the blue/green will increase the engagement rpm a little and help acceleration. That's about it. You wont really lose anything on top end. They arent hard to change. Torque the center clutch bolt to 40ft/lbs, and the 6 outer cover bolts to 90in/lbs when re-installing. Dont forget to align the X marks on the clutch spider and the clutch outer cover. Bubba
