Is there anybody out there that owns a 2000 sportsman 6x6 ?I have a couple of question.Is there alot of power in the 500cc motor to turn those 6 wheels?How does it drive when the cargo box has alot of weight?How does it drive on hard pack and very rough trail? how does it stand up in the mud?How many miles can you drive on a full tank of gas?I KNOW I'VE ASKED ALOT OF QUESTIONS BUT THE ANSWERS WILL HELP ME MAKE THE BIG DECISION INTO BYING IT OR NOT (PLEASE REPLY)THANK YOU.

 

I own The Sportsman 2000 6x6, I bought it in November of 1999. Can't answer all your ? yet. As for power there is plenty of that. I have been running a set of tracks in the snow since December. Fuel useage seems ok, but have had a lot of slippage in the deep snow so a lot of fuel waste. I have not had the bed loaded up yet, the most I Have carried is 2 people in the back. I built a roll over bar with a seat for 2 people in the back bed. I'm really happy with the 6x6 and have put about 500 miles on it with no mech. problems yet. Looking forward to use it for yard work this summer, if summer ever gets here!!
