Default Anyone playing with 700 timing

The Sp700 has alot of potential if you can change the timing, anyone found a way around it. MSD??
open to ideas. Let me know. Tks

Default Anyone playing with 700 timing

I've heard that a swap to the 600 CDI box will do it some good. It has a curve that will give it more power at lower rpm's for a little more take off and also has a higher rev limit. It might be worth taking a look at.

Contact DiamondGRacing.com (he's 1Bearman on this forum). He's currently preparing to market a CDI for the Prairie 650, supposed to push the top speed to 75mph. (Not with me on it, though)!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] He might be interested in building one for the SP700, or he may know of one somewhere else. I'm surprised Aaen or one of the other Polaris specialists hasn't tried coming up with something. Timing retardation is the big reason that all the big machines sign off at roughly 60mph. It's a liability issue for the manufacturers.
quad500 - is Northwest Cycle a dealer or associate dealer for Polaris now?

I think he is working thru Bros selling for them, but I haven't been talking with him to confirm.
